  • Best method to backup Opera mail messages
The steps to save your Opera Mail emails depend on whether you use Opera Mail in the Opera browser or as a standalone program. Any differences will be pointed out in the directions.

Select Opera Mail in the upper-left corner of the window, then choose Help > About Opera Mail.
Copy the location next to Mail directory, then close the program.

Navigate to that folder in Windows Explorer.

Move to its root folder. The aim here is to see the mail folder—the one that holds all the mail information. For example, the folder in this example is:

    C:\Users\Jon\AppData\Local\Opera\Opera\mail\
Move up one folder. Following this example, the destination is:
    C:\Users\Jon\AppData\Local\Opera\Opera\

Right-click the email folder and copy it. Another quick way to copy a folder is to left-click it once to highlight it and then press Ctrl+C on the keyboard.

Paste the mail folder where you want the information to be backed up. This could be an online file storage account, a location that gets backed up online, an external hard drive, a flash drive, or another folder on the same computer.

  • Microsoft 365 Backup Benefits
It’s important to remember that Software as a Service (SaaS) platform providers, like Microsoft 365, take on the responsibility of application uptime and the underlying infrastructure. However, it’s still the customer’s responsibility to manage and protect their vital business data, according to Microsoft’s Shared Responsibility Model. It’s also worth noting that while many of the built-in features within Microsoft 365 can feel like backups, none of them adhere to the common definition of a backup, which is a separate copy of data that’s stored in a separate location that data can quickly and easily be recovered from. At Veeam, we’ve identified:

Accidental deletion: This is actually the most common cause of data loss in Microsoft 365. If you delete a user, whether you meant to or not, that deletion will then be replicated across the network. A backup could restore that user, either to on-premises Exchange or Microsoft 365.

Retention policy gaps and confusion: Retention policies in Microsoft 365 are designed to help organizations comply with regulations, laws and internal policies that require that they retain or delete content; they are not backups. But even if you do rely on your retention policy in place of a backup, these retention policies are hard to keep up with, let alone manage. A backup provides longer and more accessible retention that’s all protected and stored in one place for easy recovery.

    What is Cloud PC?
Microsoft Cloud PC is a new "strategic offering" built on top of Windows Virtual desktop, which is an Azure-based system used for virtualizing Windows and applications in the cloud.

According to reports, Cloud PC uses Microsoft's existing Windows Virtual Desktop and Azure infrastructure to deliver Desktop as a Service and enable a modern, elastic, cloud-based Windows experience.

With Virtual Desktops, you get quick updates to protect your desktops from new threats. However, you will not need to update each desktop individually, as updates are managed centrally.

You make remote access and mobility a lot easierRemote working is part of everyday working life now. People need more mobile ways to work. Even if they are not always remote, they need access to their desktops wherever they are, whenever they need it.

  • Things to know about Sage 50cloud Pro license.
Sage 50 must be purchased and then downloaded to your computer. The majority of Sage’s capabilities and functionality must be used on this machine, unlike a web-based software which gives you the ability to use your account anywhere you have internet access. However, the “cloud” component of Sage 50cloud refers to the remote access this software gives you to your accounting data. Although you cannot actually perform any accounting tasks remotely, Sage 50 does allow you to store and backup your data in the cloud. With this cloud backup, you also can undo data entry errors by restoring data from the cloud as of a particular date.

On the whole, Sage 50 accounting software allows you to manage your accounting, invoices, income, expenses, and payments. You can choose from three different Sage 50 plans, each with increasing capabilities, priced on a monthly or annual basis.

  • What is Office 365 E1 license?
E1 is part of the Enterprise family of Office 365 plans, which are built for larger businesses with concerns about security and compliance.

Considering the switch from an Office 365 Business plan? As a general rule, that makes sense if you need to accommodate more than 300 users. If not, Office 365 Business might meet your needs for now.

Note that Office 365 ProPlus technically falls under the Enterprise family of plans—you can compare it to the others here—but we don’t generally recommend it. You don’t get the collaborative platforms, which are arguably essential.

I mention it because it’s the enterprise equivalent (not an exact match) of Office 365 Business. Similarly, you can think of E3 as the analog of Office 365 Business Premium, and of E5 in its own league with features that aren’t available with any Business subscription.

For Office 365 E1, its “matching” plan is Business Essentials—no desktop apps, but all the collaborative platforms.

  • Advantages of Sage 300 ERP hosting service
Sage 300 ERP (formerly Sage ACCPAC) is a tax software designed for small and medium-sized businesses to simplify the work of tax professionals, CPAs, and accountants. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as the name suggests, helps to plan and manage the resources for a business. Sage 300 ERP is one of the most popular business management applications that helps organizations to streamline business operations smoothly. By hosting Sage 300 ERP to the cloud, one can enhance the present features of the desktop version of the software to meet the challenges of modern businesses.

    Mobile Access

Sage 300 ERP cloud hosting has revamped the traditional process of saving business data on a local device. Saving all of your business files on local desktop restricts access to the data, besides raising a question mark on the security of the data as it is exposed to possibilities of theft, hardware breakdown, or other unforeseen accidents that may lead to permanent loss of data. On the other hand, the cloud provides round-the-clock access to your business information, at any time, from any device of your choice, with guaranteed security. When software is installed on a device, its usability gets limited to the device where it has been installed. However, with the cloud, anyone with the login id and password of the software can access the data from anywhere in the world. Therefore, cloud hosting provides you with the required mobility to handle business operations in today’s fast-paced world.

  • Why Enterprises are moving to Sage 100 Hosting?
    1. Sage 100 Cloud Hosting Aids Remote Work During COVID-19
The new normal of work from home environments during the COVID-19 pandemic would not have been possible without significant investment in digital infrastructures, including cloud-hosted networks. Hosting your Sage 100 software online allows instantaneous remote access and real-time file sharing without having to manually interact with a workstation. Virtual databases enable your remote workers to continue to collaborate and work directly with their business data while social distancing.

    2. Protect Your ERP Data with Native Cybersecurity
The shift to majority remote workforce has generated new cybersecurity concerns across the world; however, with cloud-hosted software and networks providers are able to proactively monitor data online unlike ever before. With real-time endpoint protection and human cyber intelligence deployment, CSPs armed with a security operations center (SOC) can quickly identify and address hacker footprints in your Sage 100 system. Implementing a secure cloud hosting and IT service is the most cost-effective way for SMBs to employ cyber protection for ERP.

    3. Gain Flexibility with Application Hosting Deployment Options
There are multiple cloud deployment options for Sage ERP customers to choose from, from hosting software, IT infrastructure and development platforms as a service to a hybrid of on-premise and online resources. • Prerequisites for Exchange 2013 to 2019 Migration
If you are migrating from Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2019, you need to ensure the following before getting started:

Update Exchange 2013 with the latest Cumulative Update 23 (CU23) released in July 2021 or later.
Active Directory Servers must be hosted on Windows 2012 R2 Standard or Datacenter and higher with Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher Active Directory Forest functionality.
If you still host Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers, you need to make sure that these are decommissioned before the installation and migration of Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2019.
Exchange 2019 supports Outlook 2013 and higher.
Important Note: With Exchange 2019, you don’t have any Unified Messaging (UM). Thus, if you have Lync or Skype for Business Server, you will lose the ability to save voicemail messages in your mailboxes, and an alternative needs to be found, like CX-E or Azure Voicemail on Office 365.

Steps to Migrate Exchange Server 2013 to 2019
    Deploy Exchange 2019
    Install Windows Server 2019
    Install Exchange 2019 Prerequisites
    .Net 4.8 Framework

  • What is Microsoft tenant migration?
    Tenant merger:
In this merger scenario we have two separate companies with M365 tenants in Contoso and ACME, as shown below. ACME recently acquired Contoso and as a part of the acquisition strategy has elected to combine their tenants. When starting out, you can see there are two M365 tenants, each with their own users, data and supported domains. At the end of the migration, all the users, resources and data that were in the tenant have been transitioned to the onmicrosoft tenant.

    Tenant divestiture:
In this divestiture scenario, we have a single M365 tenant supporting two different product lines. To streamline operations, the decision was made to split into two different organizations. The new organizations decided to transition the Contoso users, data and domain to their own tenant. Looking at the example below, you can see the ACME onmicrosoft tenant supports both the ACME and Contoso vanity domains.
