So ive Been using the keymander for 6 months now and i have improved extremely, but I want my mouse to go fast when I drag fast and slow when I drag slow, I am using a rival 300 with 1350 cpi, I’ve never understood the in depth mouse setting...

The one difference from PC gaming that we always have to deal with is the game's maximum turning speed explain on the first post in this thread. That will dictate how fast you can move, which in games like Call of Duty: Black Ops III is extremely fast, but in games like The Division it is much slower. Once you get a feel for the game's maximum speed, you can more easily dial in your settings to your style of play.

Next, you said you have the Rival 300 which is a GREAT gaming mouse using the Pixart 3310 "flawless" sensor, so it will perform extremely well if set up properly. Since we are not actually using a PC, the old rules for using lower CPI/DPI do not apply here. Turn the CPI to the maximum at 6500 and make sure to set the KeyMander software DPI setting to the same. Your mouse will move faster and also more smoothly at lower speeds because we are making use of the full range of available CPI to work within. Currently you have capped the range at 1350, so you will have "blocky" adjustment steps that don't give you the full performance of that mouse.

    Thank you for your answer!
Are you guys working on a iOS app cause it’s kinda irritating if you want to change something and you need to unplug everything and plug it in to the computer...

I Maxed the dip and copied your settings in r6 and Overwatch and in overwatch it’s really sensitive and r6 it’s really fast and “hacky” .

Yes we will release an iOS version once our android one is ready!

You can lower the sensitivity using the controller if you do not have a PC. Check out the manual, you can find steps on how to do that there.

Hm when i changed the dpi ive tried to get a new sensitivity but everything feels to fast and the acceleration is to fast as well how does diognal sensitivity work I am just really fast

The Android app for KeyMander is now available on the Google Play store. We are working on porting it to iOS now, but it will take a little while.

Are you using our sample profile with R6S and OW? If you are using our sample profiles and the sensitivity is too high (too fast), adjust the mouse sensitivity down by 5-10 points and see how it feels. You will need to get a feel for it and see what works best for you, but you should have smoother movement now.

Yes the movement is much smoother and yes i am using the sample profiles on ow and r6 so you recommend that I don’t mess with the accelerations and just lower the sensitivity?

That’s about the sensitivity and acceleration I would like

Actually, I recommend you mess with everything, a little at a time, until you find what helps you play best. Once you find something that is close to your liking, you need to decide what it is that feels missing. Does it feel great for sniping but slow to turn? Does it feel good for run and gun but not accurate for sniping? Is it smooth but just a bit slow? Etc.

This video is all PC players and most are playing at low sensitivity while strafing around corners to keep shots accurate, i.e. little mouse movement. Try lowering your dpi setting and add a little acceleration curve at the midpoint to make turning faster, like the low aim speed / high turn speed here.

So I’ve been using the keymander since February I’ve noticed in some games it’s nice for Fortnite but in Overwatch, or Rainbow 6 Seige it’s weird and moves like it’s moving 5 pixels and skipping pixels which I got used to but I’ve been getting really annoyed by it any help? I just want it to be smooth I have a Logitech g603 so it can go up to 12000 dpi idk if it’s the dpi or something I just can’t find a sweet spot to make it smooth i wanna be able to do flicks like the video below but it’s not smooth and I’ll flick and by 5 pixels off

    Hello!
Have you set the keymander dpi to its max? (10000) This must be done to get the best movement from your mouse.

Also are you using our sample profiles for your games?

I only have a MacBook so I can’t use the sample profiles I tried boot camp but that didn’t work either and I’ve been using 10000 aswell so I’m just really lost

Ok if you do not have a PC the only other way to configure it would be using an Android phone or tablet. Then you can use our keymander app. Check out this post for more information.

I was wondering if there was a release date for the keymander app because I was playing some comp overwatch and it skipped legit 5 pixels on a easy kill I tried to get, because of the sensitivity thing because I can’t use profiles due to me not having android or a device with windows I’m just annoyed by having it happen so I was wondering when the app was dropping

I believe we are waiting for the Apple store to approve the app. So that is the last step, this usually takes a couple of weeks but after that it should be up!

do you know what the apps supposed to be called? I’ve been looking it up in the App Store every day just don’t know the actual name.

The app will be called IOGEAR Keymander app, but you will not be able to find until we have the Apple store let it go live.

We are still working on that.

I don't think we ever got an answer to FatDiet's original question about slow aim movement seeming to skip/jump 5 pixels which I'm seeing in R6 siege, so I'm literally having the same issue... I'm using a Logitech G502 mouse, 10k DPI on the mouse setting and in Keymander setting. I downloaded the R6 Siege DH profile, which is what I'm using and have been testing for hours with no resolution. All my in game settings are 100 on sensitivity and 5 on deadzone. I've tried 3 different gaming mice and nothing resolves this issue. I've got the Keymander plugged into my xbox one x and my PC, so I've been flipping through settings trying to get a smooth movement... driving me nuts!

Update, I ditched the Logitech G502 for the Corsair M65 Pro mouse and used the R6 profile from "Prowler" on another thread and things are working great. I'm content at this juncture.

Hey I’m wondering if there was something that happened to the IOGEAR Keymander app on iOS because you said it may take a few weeks for the app to get verified when it’s maybe been around 2 months

We have had some trouble with the iOS app store process, but are working to resolve it so we can post the app.

Is there a status on when the keymander app will be coming out? I’ve been waiting for around 3 months or so.
