just wanted to let you know that I tested the XBox button on the controller with the KeyMander in Play Mode and it does function as expected on both the Esc Key binding and the button on the controller.

Hi Jake, we released our new firmware and software last week, which has a couple patches to fix these specific issues:
    1. Firmware recovery mode failure
    2. Rare KeyMander crash with F11+F12 keys pressed in certain timing sequence
    3. "The gamepad emulator is being updated by a user" error
    4. Direct Mapping Mode not working with Elite Controller
    5. Xbox button on controller stops working while controller connected to KeyMander.

Please update to the newest software and firmware and let me know if you still have the same issues.

oh, I'll check it out tomorrow when I have a moment to play then. I've been looking at the release date and it still says 2-21-2018 for the firmware and 10-18-2017 for the software for me. np5nfuhg2eynjp28.png

We are working on getting our website updated, but you can get the two files from this post, they are attached to the first comment on the thread.

The IOGEAR website is updated now. Apparently someone didn't "throw the switch" to make it live on the IOGEAR website, but I always have it loaded here in the forum as well.

Thank you for all of your help! I've finally had a change to test it out this last week and it has only frozen twice in about 16 hours of playtime. This is a substantial improvement since I'm likely not in the middle of a firefight when it crashes now.

At this point, I feel comfortable enough to use the device in the standard mode instead of Play mode to see if it continues to crash. My guess is that it probably will but hopefully it doesn't make the awful screeching sound while it's frozen like it used to.

I will follow-up here if it still crashes in the standard mode.

Please let me know if you have any crashes without the PC connected. Also, can you provide a list of processes running in the background on the PC when the KeyMander Play Mode crashed?

I'm having the same issue, it stops for about 5-10 seconds repeating whatever input i put in as it happened. I have my kb/m plugged into my pc with the keymander connected to pc and xbox and controller. I have tried shutting down every process on my pc except what windows required to run and it made no difference. Every time it happens the setting light comes on as if i went into sensitivity change mode on my controller, then it turns off as i regain control. Iv'e been trying to stay away from my keymander until i figure it out periodically checking this post for updates. Is there a fix yet? I do have the most recent firmware as long as a new one hasn't been released in the last couple weeks. I would try playing directly through the keymander but i cant seem to get my mouse dpi right without the pc.(corsair m65 , 8200 max dpi

The Corsair mice sometimes require there software or a PC to work right, is there anyway you can try directly to see if it keeps repeating the button even if the dpi isn't right.

Do you have anything connected to the power port?
