Everything works fine with my keymander I decided to add to side buttons on my mouse one for LB and the other for RB so I could do something faster on a game. When I click the button for LB my character stops moving unless I let go of the button I was moving with and press it again. Same with the RB. On the macros you select marco key and then mouse I couldn't figure out what my side buttons would be on the mouse I tried most of them and they did not work. So I opened my mouses software and made the first side button click M the second click N. So then I could add macros to then so M (first side button) clicks RB, N (second side button) clicks LB. I think this is the reason my character stops moving after the button is clicked. Is there anyway to fix my mouse from stopping me from moving when I click a button?

Have you tried setting LB and RB to Mouse Forward and Mouse Back? These should be the side buttons on your mouse.

What kind of mouse are you using?

My lb is mouse roll up and my rb is mouse roll down. My mouse (roccat Nyth) can have up to 12 side buttons but I use two medium side buttons on to first two rows.

hey the alternate method you mentioned is exactly what I did however when I click the side button my character stops moving and to make him move again I would have to click the button I was using to move again Instead of holding it down. Is this anyway to fix this.

Understood, have you tried swapping the buttons? So put the Macros on the roll up and roll down and the assigned buttons to the other mouse buttons?

Also what version firmware do you have on the keymander?

    Hi Jacob,
Which mouse are you using, what function did you assign to the side button, and what game are you playing? We saw a similar issue with a particular mouse a while back and made a patch a few updates back. If it's the same issue it should be easy to patch if you can tell us the specific.

I tried what you said and my mouse keeps doing the same thing when I click the side button it stops moving with what button I was using. Is there a mouse that goes with keymanders that the side buttons works with.

I saw you mention this issue in your post in a different thread, so I will be merging it into here. Now that I know your mouse, we will order it and test it out. Sounds like an easy patch but it does take us a little while to make them so bear with us while we get one to test and go from there.

Did it work? My mouse side buttons still cancel movement and if they would work it would be so much easier to build in fortnight.

I sent the Nyth to our engineers to have a patch made, but I honestly had forgotten to check back. I will look into it and see!
