Configure keyboard controls on the fly.

Direct Button Mapping allows you to change keyboard or mouse maps without connecting KeyMander to your PC. Direct Button Mapping requires connection of your PS/Xbox controller to the KeyMander for basic setup.

    To use Direct Mapping:
    1. Connect your controller using your USB cable to the Gamepad port on the KeyMander.
    2. Press Share + Options (PS4), Select + Start (PS3), Back + Start (Xbox) or View + Menu (Xbox One) buttons at the same time. You will hear 1 beep from KeyMander and the Setting LED will flash slowly.
    3. Press PS, Xbox Guide, or Xbox button. KeyMander will beep once again and Setting LED will now flash rapidly. You are now in Direct Mapping Mode.
    a. Press the desired PS/Xbox controller button you wish to map. KeyMander will beep once to confirm.
    b. Press any key on the keyboard or mouse and the controller button will be mapped to that key. KeyMander will beep once to confirm.
    c. Continue steps 3a & 3b until all desired buttons have been mapped to keyboard or mouse.
    4. Press Share + Options (PS4), Select + Start (PS3), Back + Start (Xbox) or View + Menu (Xbox One) buttons at the same time to exit Direct Mapping Mode. KeyMander will beep twice and the Setting LED will stop

Try shutting off the Xbox and unplug the power cable once it is fully shut down.
Reconnect the cable and turn on the Xbox by pressing the button on the xbox.
Make sure to leave the keymander and the controller connected.

This was something I was going to try as well. I couldn't get it to work, it's the only thing I can think of to change mapping without a computer

If you do not have a PC configuring via the direct button mapping is the only way at the moment. Once the app is fully released it should make things easier without a PC.

Power cycle the keymander and then try the setting mode again.
Make sure the controller does not have rechargeable batteries.

What console are you on? Are you pressing the middle Sony or the Middle Xbox button before you press the controller button?

The cable from the controller to the keymander.

If you have the split cable you can use the short micro USB end, this should work.

I am unable to change my key binds when pressing “view + menu” on Xbox one. The keymander does not beep when pressing those. Everything is plugged in correctly, tried different cords, tried resetting. I can use the keyboard and mouse just not able to change the key binds. Very irritating

Xbox one elite controller, will be trying a controller that comes with the Xbox here in a little bit and let you know if that fixes it.

Did you configure the Keymander via PC before? Or did you always do manually with the controller?

So I’ve been playing with my settings I’ve used for months but all of the sudden I think I accidentally clicked something and my entire sensitivity went from fast to very slow. I’ve tried resetting everything and even if I play with max sensitivity and max dpi, I still only get 1/2 of the normal speed I was used to. And I can’t aim or do anything that involves mouse space because i have to move my mouse 3 feet to do a 360 degree meanwhile before it only took me 2 inches of movement.

What console are you on? Have you tried uploading the firmware again?

Is there any way to map keys with only one of the power cords? And do you have to update the firmware to use the direct mapping? And can you update the firmware with one cord? Sorry for all the questions

To map the keys with our software and a PC you do need two cables, to button map directly with a controller then only one cable is needed. No the upgrade is not needed to direct button map.

The firmware has to be upgraded with our software so two cables are needed.
