Im really confident that i set my Xbox one S with Keymader properly. but it does not work in the 'simulation' mode and actual games. Funny thing is mouse wouldnt work, none of keys from keyboard wouldnt work but the arrows on keyboard works in the xbox main manu(not in games) instead of WASD keys.

is there Anyone successfully set up the xbox one S with Keymander?

    Hi June Bug,

Did you update your KeyMander to the latest firmware before you connected it to your Xbox One S? If so, try pressing F9 and see if it beeps once or twice. One beep is typing mode which sets the keyboard as a normal keyboard for chatting, entering passwords, etc. which it sounds like you are currently in (only the arrow keys function in menus, etc). Two beeps is gaming mode and the keyboard will act like the controller with the keys performing as the controller functions you setup with the KeyMander software.

Hi Derek, thanks for your quick reply.
Yes I have updated the software and tried pressing F9 key to confirm my keyboard was working.(Light came on and i confirmed)
Neither when 'KB mode' is flashing and not, the game wasn't recognizing keyboard and mouse.
However, i tried the same thing on the different game BF1(previously i was on Warframe), the keyboard worked perfectly! but no sign from the Mouse yet.(Mouse's LED lights are on from the power connection though)

Please try this quick test for me. Make sure the Xbox is off and take the batteries out of your Xbox One controller. Connect it to the KeyMander, then press the X button on the controller and let me know if the Xbox system turns on. This will force the Xbox One into USB mode and make sure we are not in the wireless mode.

    [problem solved]
By replacing mini USB cord for xbox controlle to decent one changed the world. Im assuming lack of power capability from short and thin cord causes the problem.

You are right that cables make a difference. A simple power cable will not work. You must use a charge & sync cable capable of sending data.

I have a different problem but it is along the same lines. I have an Xbox One S and the keymander does not work with it. This is confusing because I have had the keymander for months now and it works perfectly fine with my PlayStation 4. Now, using all of the same stuff I used before on the PlayStation, the keymander doesn't input anything on my Xbox One S. Wondering if there is something wrong on my end, any help?

Are you using the same cable for the controller ? Also can you get movement in the Xbox Homescreen ?

What lights do you see on the keymander ?

There's a couple things to check. First, make sure your Xbox One is updated to the latest firmware. Next make sure your controller is updated to the latest firmware. If you have a new controller and it is not updated, or the Xbox One is not updated, it will not work with KeyMander.
    It is an easy update:
◾Connect a controller to your Xbox One with a USB cable. Keep any headsets connected to the controller.
    ◾Connect to Xbox Live.
    ◾Press the Menu.
◾Go to Settings > Devices & accessories. Select the controller.
◾If you have multiple controllers attached, you can select Buzz – which will cause the selected controller to vibrate.
◾Then select Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable, and the screen will show the "Updating controller…" progress screen.
◾When you see the Controller updated screen it's all done.

To Marco: yes I am, do you think that's the problem? And to Derek: I am all updated, controller and system, unfortunately it is still not working.

Also to Marco: no movement on the home screen and I only have the blue power one on.

    Let's try this:
    1. Disconnect the controller from KeyMander and take out the batteries.
    2. Connect the controller to KeyMander and press the Xbox logo button to turn on the controller.
    3. Check to see that the controller is working in the Xbox One menu. If it is working go to step 4.
    4. Check the keyboard WASD keys to see if they are working in the Xbox One menu. If so, you're good to go, if not go to step 5.
    5. Press F9. If you hear one beep, press F9 again and go to step 6. If you hear two beeps, the KeyMander was in Typing Mode and is now switched to Game Mode so try step 4 again now.
    6. Change the micro-USB cable out with a known good micro-USB charge and sync cable (like for an Android device). It is rare but I've seen it happen twice where a barely working micro-USB cable worked with one system and not the other. Check the WASD keys now and let us know if it is working.

Just tried everything you asked, and purchased a new charge and sync cable, unfortunately it is still not working.

Let me back up a step. Have you updated the KeyMander firmware as seen here? If so, can you connect to KeyMander on your PC?

If it makes it easier, call us and let's walk through it together. Tech support line is 866-946-4327.

Are you able to open the KeyMander software and make changes to profiles? If so, do you have the console near your computer, or do you have a laptop you use for updating profiles, etc.?

I'm also having problems with my Keymander so any help would be appreciated. I followed the updated setup guide and the suggestions you guys have made in this post already, but I'm still unable to use my mouse and keyboard at all even on the menu screen.

    Hi Marc,

What console are you using? If the arrow keys on the keyboard do not function on the menu screens, then the controller is not interfaced with the KeyMander. Since I don't know your system, the first thing to check is the micro-USB cable connecting the controller. So many times we see cables that seem to work fine when connecting a phone to a computer or USB charger, only to find out they have low bandwidth or are not passing data at all and will not work with KeyMander. I always recommend buying a good quality micro-USB cable so we can start eliminate that possibility.

I'm using an Xbox one S. The micro-USB cable I'm using to is the one that came with the Xbox elite contorller. I also tried using a different micro-USB cable but that one didn't work either though I don't think the cable is the issue because Microsoft describes the cable as "wired using included 9’ USB cable. Data transfers through the USB cable when connected to the controller and console/PC" I've also tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it but that didn't work aswell
