I have not installed the new firmware. I tried, and did everything the directions both in the packaging and online have suggested, but with no success. I try to install the firmware and it will just hang for a min, then close the program with no msg. If I try to finish the firmware install by just running the firmware update directly instead of using the program I get nothing. If I try to open the program after the failed firmware update it will just show the spinning green lines around the circle logo in the middle BUT with no Controller with the words READY. So I caved and just tried to get it to work without the update and it did.

    - My keyboard and mouse had no issue hooking up, and I followed all the directions to ensure that the performance of my mouse was as good as it can get. I set the mouse to 8600dpi ( fastest setting ) so I would get the best range of motion on the console.

My issue as best I can describe it is this. At random my mouse will auto look directly at my feet. This can happen 4 times in a row with 10 second breaks or it can happen one time and not again for 5min. The other issue is that my mouse will auto press Mouse 1 at random, and my Keyboard keys will auto press at random and use items in my inventory or randomly fire my weapon at the worst times.

Ok first thing to check is to make sure TURBO mode is not on and also make sure that you do not have turn assist mapped to any key. This can be done via the software.

If you cannot upgrade via the software you can try the Firmware recovery process this bypasses the software. You most likely have the most up to date firmware but reloading it usually fixes random bugs like this.

You can also make a new profile and see if it gives you the same issues. That way we can see if it is something directly with the profile you are using.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will give these suggestions a shot when I get home tonight and report back on the results.

Also is there a place I can upload my Monster Hunter World Profile, so other people can check it out and use it?

I checked to see if Turbo mode was on, and it was not. I also noticed that the issue is getting worse. Had my mouse and keys go wonky on me back to back 10 times in game. This is my only issue now, mouse is dialed in and works fine, movements are all crisp and instant.... but my keys and mouse going nuts every so often is really starting to break me.

No I didn't upgrade the firmware, after checking the version pre-installed and the update on your page I can confirm I have the same version.

Update the firmware regardless, this is just in case it is a bug in the firmware. Reloading it will clear that up.

OK so what would be the best way to update the firmware when its acting up during the update.
I followed the directions to update it normally and I get the spinning green circle when I launch the program. If I reset the device using a paperclip everything goes fine again.

If you get stuck in the spinning circle but the POWER light is still flashing, go ahead and open the firmware upgrade file without the software.

Let me know if that works properly.
