I am not tech savvy but I am not horrible either. I have been trying to play a game for three hours. After getting everything setup. I started my game. First my Xbox started sayin my controller disconnected and would not read it. When I finally got into a game the mouse would not work or it would just point up into the sky without me doing anything. I have watched several videos and read several blogs. This is the my first time blogging because I need serious help!!! Btw the turbo light is on for some reason.

If the turbo light is solid press F10 to turn turbo mode off.

Now have you tried swapping out the cable from the controller to the keymander or even tried another controller?

Also what kind of batteries are in the controller, rechargeable ones?

So I dont think it was the cord now. Sometimes it works other times it dose not. If I unplug it and plug it back It will work for a few minutes and then it will stop. And the same goes for the audio. Every time I go to play this product is giving me problems and not working. I have switched cables, bought expensive cables, switched controllers, .... etc. I love the item when it works but I spend more time trying to get it to work then I do playing.

Yea ever time I play! Sometimes it acts like it is work but doesn’t I have to unplug and plug it back in a bunch of timeS. I love it when it works but at this point I am thinking about sending it back to the company or selling it.

Have you tried a different controller? The issue your describing is the controller loosing communication to the Xbox, this could happen because of the cable or even if the cable does not sit properly in the controller. We are looking at our Xbox One S and Xbox One X here in our offices to see if get the same result or similar problems.

Try reloading the firmware through the software. This will fix the firmware if anything was corrupted inside.

Just purchased the Keymander and updated it to the newest version. I watch the “How to setup the Keymander” video and properly followed step by step. It works for a minute or so then it disconnects. Xbox 1 X is brand new. I don’t what else to do?

Is the Keymander going through any kind of hub or is it going directly to Xbox?

read this on another post and it worked for me. Add an additional cord to the power port along with the a cord in a game slot.

So I would have something similar happen to me as well. About mid way through a match of halo 5 Everwhere I would turn my mouse it would want to go that direction continuously not stopping even after I stopped moving the mouse and some time it would just stop working all together. The way I was using my mouse was from the computer to the keymander then the console. This mad it easy to switch between both to test setting so I wouldn’t have to unplug then replug. After directly connecting the keyboard and mouse to the keymander it fix the most of the problems. The one I’m having now is when you leave the controller Idle for too long it will show that your control is disconnected and you will have to unplugthe controller replug it in this will generally fix it but if that doesn’t work then you will have to close the software then open it up again. This my or my not be the solution to what you’re Experiencing but that’s the best I got. Oh also if you hear a beeping before it disconnects it maybe your cord or the connection is loose.

My keymander will not work properly, I've tried everything above and it still doesn't work. About a month ago I was using my keymander WHEN IT WORKED and it did something to my 2 controllers, they do not work at all. One will blink endlessly and one won't do anything. So i used my broken controller so i could play, now a month later I think the same thing partially happened, I setup everything correctly, good usb, charged batteries,no batteries, cant switch controllers, turbo mode on and off, extra cable for more power... wth do I do, PLEASE help me!!!!

First lets try cycling the consoles power. Shut it off then once it is completely shutoff disconnect the power cord.

    What console are you on?

Standard Xbox one. I shutoff the console and disconnected the power cord, what is my next step?

Reconnect the power and then turn on the power by pressing the button on the Xbox itself.

Is the Power LED on or is it flashing?
If it is flashing you will need to do this.

If the power LED is on solid, take the batteries out of the controller and see if it powers up when you press the Xbox button. If so, press the F9 button. If it beeps once it was already in Gaming Mode so press again to go back to it. If it beeps twice, it is now in Gaming Mode and you should be good.

If it powers up but you can only move through the Xbox menu and not move in game, change the micro USB or if your KeyMander came with the newer cable that has a micro USB pigtail, you can test it this way.

Okay so its working now, I didn't need to press f9 or take out the batteries. I think restarting the console was what fixed it. Thank you so much!!!

Glad to hear it is working. If it happens again please make a note of what is happening so we can try to see what caused it.

Try taking the batteries out, sometimes those batteries will think they are charging and draw power from the keymander which will cause problems.
