Our engineering team is looking into it but I'd like to try some additional troubleshooting while they work on it. Please take the extra mini-USB cable that is normally used for programming the KeyMander and connect it to the Power port on the KeyMander. Take the other end and connect it to a USB power source such as a cell phone/tablet charger or other source of USB power and see if you still have the same issue. If the problem is power related, this should fix it, but since I haven't been able to dupllicate it here I'm not yet sure what is causing it. Please let me know if that does or does not solve the issue.

I have been experiencing the same issue on Xbox 1X
I am experiencing the controller disconnect along with the high pitch ringing noise in my headset. This issue has happened while playing Rainbow Six Siege and Battle Field V.

Are you playing with or without a PC connected? Which USB port is KeyMander connected to on your XB1? What keyboard and mouse are you using? Are you using the XB1 controller that came with it or another controller such as the Microsoft Elite controller?

Ok, move the KeyMander to a rear USB port and the high pitch disconnection problem should be fixed. Please let me know if you run into an issue where the KeyMander stops responding for a few seconds and your character keeps moving the direction you were headed. We have some users with this issue and are trying to find the commonality between them.

Ok, day 2. Starting acting up 1/2 hour into playing. My guy stopped moving and disconnect came on screen. Reconnected within 5 seconds. I didnt have to unplug cables. Happened about 5 times then stopped.

Our engineers are asking for us for the following info:
    1. Connection: Is KeyMander connected to Console only, Console and PC or Console and Power port?
    2. Does your KeyMander have the 3.5mm Data port or not?
    3. KeyMander software version running on your PC?
    4. KeyMander firmware version running on the device?
    5. What game(s) is/are affected?
    6. What console are you on?
    7. Keyboard make/model?
    8. Mouse make/model?
    9. If PC connected, what PC, OS and anti-virus software are you running?

Our engineering team is still working, but in the my team has been testing the following setup with no issues on PS4, XB1 X and XB1 S:
KeyMander Power port connected to additional power supply which in our main test unit is connected to a PC USB2.0 port.
KeyMander PC port connected to the PC USB port.
KeyMander Game port connected to the console.
We have been able to reproduce one problem with PS4 using dropping controller when the controller power runs low enough to shut down. For some reason the controller current draw spikes the KeyMander and it can't keep the controller charged with our cuh-zct2u controller, but it takes a couple weeks for a fully charged controller to run down while connected. We are still testing all these scenarios, but in the meantime a fully charged PS4 controller connected as described above has been functioning flawlessly on a two PS4 units here, plus our XB1 consoles.

hey guys, i know this is an old problem but i am having issues again. was fine for the longest time. my daughter borrowed my controller to play a game on her phone. now im having the same problem all over again. controller goes yellow right before i get control back. keeps happening every minute or so. didnt know if you guys ever found a problem

The biggest problem we have is when the controller battery gets low and it will not stay connected over USB. In this case the controller has to be fully charged before reconnecting to the KeyMander. Also check to make sure this setting did not get changed from USB.

I tried having keymander plugged in to pc the entire time i played. Made no difference. I also always have controller plugged in and playstation on standby while not playing. It happens alot. Made playing last night frustrating

When the PS4 controllers are a little older or have internal battery issues (high resistance) the KeyMander will not be able to charge the controller. If you take a fully charged controller that was connected to the PS4 using USB and then connect it to KeyMander, if there is any internal battery issues that exceed the charging capability of the KeyMander, you will see a slow drain over the course of days or even a week or more until it is dead. In this case the controller is using a little more power than what the KeyMander delivers so it eventually drains the controller battery. Please try connecting directly to the PS4 until the controller is charged then try it with the KeyMander and see what happens.

Thanks, please let me know how it goes. What I described above was my personal experience with an older PS4 controller. The controller wasn't defective and still charged with the PS4, but the age of the internal batteries was such that the small amount of current the KeyMander can provide was not enough to keep the PS4 controller charged. It took 6-8 days or so for the fully charged controller to run dry when connected full-time to the KeyMander. What I didn't try was using a higher powered external power supply to see if that solved it, but I no longer have that controller to test, so perhaps you can if it turns out to be the same issue with yours.
