    Hi Everyone,

I bought the IOGEAR Keymander and attempted to set up the keyboard&mouse for the new game called Hunt:Showdown. However, no matter how much I try to adjust the sensitivity and deadzone with the software, my aim was just incredibly twitchy. At one point, my character even bugged out and was just running in circles. I'm using a Logitech G502 and I followed the steps based on thr Youtube tutorial, are some games just not compatible with Keymander or is there a way for me to make this work?

    Thanks!

Any game will work with KeyMander but your settings my be incorrect for the game. What console are you on and where did you get the profile you are using?

It's on PS4 and I set the in-game sensitivity to the highest as instructed, and I tried to make my own custom profile for this game.

I will have to order the game, but in the meantime there's a few things to do. First, set the deadzone as described here.
Next, set your mouse DPI to maximum and then set the KeyMander dpi to match it.
Set your in-game acceleration to 35 and your diagonal acceleration to 95.
Start with your mouse sensitivity at about 25 and start increasing it by 5 points at a time until it feels good.
Let us know how that works.

I tried what you suggested, but the aiming is still too twitchy. The twitchiness is manageable when the sensitivity is low but then I wouldn't be able to react fast enough.

We ordered the game today so we will create a profile for it so we can see what's going on. Here's a simple test to see if the game's speed limit is the issue or something else. With the in-game sensitivity set at maximum, hold the right thumbstick all the way to the right and see how fast it turns. If you are trying to turn faster than that, the game's maximum turn speed is the issue. If that speed is fine but you cannot make it turn that fast with the mouse, it may be a deadzone issue or something else. Let us know what you find with that test.

Okay I will try that, let me know when you release the profile for Hunt Showdown.

Will this profile work well for xbox once it is created?

It's always our goal to provide the best experience possible with KeyMander, but that said sometimes developers put in aim/look mechanics that are slow or have unpredictable (non-linear) movement response which make it less than ideal. Some games like the Call of Duty games feel just like PC for the most part, while games like Rainbow Six: Siege have a much slower aim/look mechanic and do not feel as fast or smooth. In any case, when our copy arrives we will work on it and see how we can make it play best with KeyMander.

I will add that I purchased the keymander for this game as well. Haven't had a full chance to experiment, but I did notice a reduction in twitchiness of mouse input when I set the X&Y sensitivity (in game) down from Max and at 200. Also, turn acceleration or whatever it is called in the game needs to be all the way down or you will twitch constantly. Eagerly awaiting a profile though, hopefully my input will help. The game has a lot of sensitivity/speed settings for controls so there has to be some sweet spots.
(Edit to add information): Also, set the ironsight and scope sensitivities down even further. This game is going to require a good list of in-game settings along with Keymander settings.

I started working on Hunt Showdown yesterday, and the aim/look mechanic leaves much to be desired. You are correct about turn acceleration, leave it at 100 or it will be jumpy. It needs a few more hours of work but I'm hoping to have it done tomorrow or Friday.

EDIT: set turn acceleration to 0 to help lessen the horizontal jumpiness.

Hunt Showdown profile is now posted for PS4. This game has a non-linear aim/look engine which really affects mouse performance.

    Hey There,
I bought the keymander 2 for the Game "HUNT SHOWDOWN"
Unfortunately I noticed that I am not able to play the game with Mouse & keyboard, because of different issues.
The aiming is not working, and the view is just shaking all the time.
I tried the App for the Ps4 with a Profile as well, but didn't work for me.
Will there be any Update maybe that fix those problems?
