I love my keymander, it works fantastic. But sometimes It stops working for a few seconds, having me stop moving or walking in a straight line, not being able to do anything. That stresses me out.

Some videos showing this on Xbox One:

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Hi Mottflyer,

I have a couple questions to help troubleshoot the problem.
    1. What keyboard and mouse are you using?
    2. Do the lights on the KeyMander go out when it happens?
    3. What console are you using?
    4. Do you have a PC connected when it happens?

    Thanks!

Just using a standard Dell keyboard as a keyboard and then using a Logitech G13 to emulate a keyboard(Because it's customizable and comfortable) and a Logitech G700s Mouse.

I have not seen the KeyMander lights go out when this happens, but it doesn't beep when this happens though.

    I'm using Xbox One.

The KeyMander is connected to my PC at all times as well as the Xbox One

The Keymander's lights don't go out, the Turbo/KB Mode light turns on.

A little more testing later and when my KeyMander decides to not work, mashing keys on both my Dell Keyboard and Logitech G13 doesn't do anything in terms of movement either.

Ok, can you try a few things for me first? Make sure you are using the most recent KeyMander firmware, then try the following:
    1. Try disconnecting the PC and see if the same thing happens.
    2. If the problem still exists, take the batteries out of the controller so it only powers up while connected to the KeyMander.
    3. If the problem still exists, take the mini-USB cable connected to the PC and unplug it from both ends. Plug the cable into the Power port on the KeyMander and plug the other end into a USB wall charger. This will provide extra power and tell us if the issue is current draw related.

I have seen issues with the Xbox One controller switching back and forth between USB and wireless operation, but this was on Xbox One units with old firmware. When this happens the KeyMander would stop working for 1-3 minutes, then start working again.

Try this, when the k/b turbo mode light appears, on your regular keyboard press f9. It had happened to me.

When this issue happened to me, it was because the xbox controller was connecting and disconnecting repeatedly due to a flimsy cable hold from the controller's usb port. Be sure to place the controller on a different surface from where you play if the table shakes as you play.

I had tried pressing F9 while the bug was happening, it did nothing. I miss-typed when I said that the Turbo button came on mid-game, it was the settings button that turned on(Which I found out by looking harder).

Were you able to see if the problem persisted in the 3 steps I posted above?

I had not pulled the cable out of my PC like you said in step 1, I had pulled out the batteries from the Xbox controller and that didn't seem to do anything either.

But I did find a fix. I plugged my typing keyboard into the Keymander's Keyboard slot and pressed F12 on the keyboard along with going into Play-Mode in the software.

I tested for 2 hours and the bug didn't happen at all so I consider it fixed, though crudely.

So if I understand this correctly, you were using the keyboard/G13 attached to the PC and running in Play Mode when the "disconnection" happened, and switching the keyboard or G13 to the direct input on the KeyMander solved the problem?

Plugging a keyboard(And pressing F12 on said keyboard) into the Keymander directly stops the bug from happening completely.

Thank you for the info. will forward it to our engineers to try and duplicate then solve.

I have now found out that unplugging and re-inserting the USB connected to the controller also stops this bug from happening.

Thank you for the update. Did you notice if the X light on the controller is on or off when you saw the issue?

It stays on no matter what, even if the battery pack is removed while still being plugged into the Keymander.
