The Division sample profile for Xbox One

This sample profile has the X and Y aim/look axis unlocked to compensate for the game's super reduced up/down aim/look speed. There is a smooth acceleration curve added to the normal aim/look view to help offset slower max turning speed. There is also a special curve for ADS to provide close to pixel accurate aiming at slower speeds, with some acceleration added to offset the game's reduced turn speed while in ADS mode. Try it out and revise as needed for your preferences. Low dpi gamers will definitely need to reduce the mouse sensitivity and may try a flat mouse curve to be closer to your normal game play style.

The attached profile was made for the following in-game settings:
    Camera sensitivity: 100%
    Aim sensitivity: 100%
    Scope sensitivity: 100%
    Analog dead zone size: 0%

I need help with with my sensitivity set up on division. I'm new to keymander I purchased the keymander with the wireless kaliber gaming keyboard and mouse. I've spent hours watching iogear keymander videos and I feel I have got most of it down pretty good but my main issue is the recoil when I fire my weapons is crazy. How to I set it up to where I feel almost no recoil? Also my mouse is max 2000 dpi I have increased in game sensitivity and set 2000 dpi on keymander a but it still feels choppy, any tips.

Are you using the sample profile above? Or are you making one from scratch? First thing I would check/adjust would be the deadzone settings.

Can you send me a screen shot or just give me the numbers you are using in the sensitivity tab of the profile.

    Hi Armando,

We need to clarify your question. Are you having an issue with the mouse sensitivity, or are you trying to find a way to counteract the game's built-in recoil for specific guns? If you are trying to counter the recoil, we do not have way to do that.

Yes I started with the sample profile then made changes. My biggest struggle is ads either moves to fast and choppy or moves too slow. Maybe it's to sensitive but when I fire an AR it's feels harder to control and sort of bounces around way to much. I don't understand what settings need increased or decrease. Any help you can give me would be great. Also I got the keymander with wireless k+m bundle but I'm curious if a wired k+m would be better. Also my mouse is max 2000 dpi but would a higher dpi mouse be better?

Ok, now I know what you mean. This is the main complaint with The Division, as it has a poor aim/look engine that hasn't been improved in even the newest 1.6 revision. The mechanics have some unpredictable movement in it, including an initial movement lag (not caused by KeyMander) that acts like a non-removable deadzone, plus a low maximum turn speed and some bizarre acceleration curves that bump your look speed at a time you would least prefer it. Try moving the mouse very slowly as if trying to move 1 pixel at a time and you will see the look view doesn't move until you speed up. Start speeding up a bit more and you will see it take off, making it hard to develop a feel for point shooting. This is a game mechanic and something we can't change so must work around the best we can. Make sure you have Aim Assist off or it makes a less than desirable aim/look engine even worse.

That said, we can definitely improve some things to make the game enjoyable. First, make sure your TV or monitor is set to game mode (if it has one) to lower the input lag as much as possible, TVs are generally worse than monitors as they usually add lag on their own; not a ton, but a noticeable amount which becomes more noticeable with The Division. Second, if you have a mouse with a bit higher max DPI, use it- 4000-5000 DPI is definitely helpful.

I've been tinkering with the attached profile in The Division 1.6 build. The attached profile also uses the forward mouse button for turn assist, which greatly helps turning a quick 180 to counter the game's low maximum turn speed.

The attached profile was made for the following in-game settings:
    Camera sensitivity: 100%
    Aim sensitivity: 100%
    Scope sensitivity: 100%
    Analog dead zone size: 0%
    Aim assist: Off

    Hi Ty,
I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Is the mouse acting jittery? If so, what mouse are you using and what are your settings.

I mean, i did change curve to normal due to a low dpi mouse i got its capped at 800 so i feel way better in that way the only the when i normal move or akm its fine my little problem its when i right clic zoom i feel the mouse a bit slow but if i higher de sens the aim start to be shacking

Your mouse has 4000 dpi resolution, so set it for 4,000 not 800 or you will have to increase the KeyMander's mouse sensitivity so high that the mouse will perform very poorly. Make sure to set the KeyMander to 4,000 dpi as well!

Go to the gear in the top right hand corner of the software, then you will see your mouse DPI setting options.

    Hello!
What kind of keyboard and mouse are you using with the keymander?
Also what version firmware and software are you using?
Is this going directly to the keymander or using playmode/simulation mode?

All the keys are great but the sensitivity could be much better. Is it just the game?

What kind of sensitivity issues are you running into? Also what kind of mouse are you using?

I think I need a new mouse. If I turn up the aim sensitivity it glitches but if I turn it down I cannot quickly move. Its the hardware, I think. Both sensitivities are really high.

What mouse is it? Do you have any issues with the mouse when you connect it to a PC?

The Division does have a terrible aim/look mechanic and a low max turn speed, so it does not feel anywhere near as good as a CoD game, or even Battlefield 1. The key is making sure it doesn't feel laggy. If it does, you have the speed boosted too high with either acceleration, sensitivity or deadzone setting, and are exceeding the game's maximum turn speed.

how do i download the file and set a profile

Right click on the profile to save it, then open the KeyMander software and select a profile location with the right mouse button and select Import. Then choose the profile you saved and when done hit Upload to send it to the KeyMander.

The Division 2 has a maximum turning speed built into the game's aim/look mechanic. You can increase it some, but start with the profile setting and bump it up by 5 and test. Repeat until you get to your desired speed or until the aim/look mechanic starts slowing down from exceeding the turn speed limit as described here.

I'm sorry, I misread your post and though you were talking about The Division 2. The Division 1 has a horrible aim/look mechanic and although the look speed is manageable, the ADS speed is completely awful. I have reworked the attached profile to be a bit better, but unfortunately there is not a lot we can do with this game's poor aiming mechanic.
