Battlefield 1 sample profile for Xbox One:

[updated for recent Battlefield 1 revisions 8/10/17]

Battlefield 1 has numerous in-game sensitivity options, but start with the default settings except as noted below and adjust as needed. Testing in campaign mode is a good way to get the basic settings adjusted before you start tweaking for multiplayer mode.

The attached profile was made for the following in-game settings:
    Soldier Stick Sensitivity: 100%
Vehicle Stick Sensitivity: adjust as needed
    Soldier Zoom Sensitivity: 100%
    Advanced Settings
    Stick Aiming Acceleration: 0%
    Max Input Threshold: 100%
    Uniform Soldier Aiming: Off

Please keep in mind that each multiplayer class plays differently and creating/tweaking profiles for individual classes may help you get the most out of your weapon choices.

This profile is way better than what i made but It only feels alright in close combat, then become hard to aim a long distanced enemy because of small amount of skippings. Any advise?

    Hi JuneBug,

It sounds like you have your mouse dpi and/or the KeyMander's mouse dpi set too low, and have the profile's mouse sensitivity set a little too high or in-game acceleration set too high. This allows faster twitch-like movement, but can cause the "skipping" like response you described.

It might help to think of the mouse's maximum dpi as a maximum accuracy range, and think of the mouse sensitivity setting in the profile as the scale by which that maximum range is chopped up. The higher the dpi range, the finer the control you have within the maximum range. If you have a higher range of accuracy you can move the mouse pixel by pixel (as long as you haven't boosted in-game acceleration too high), but if you have a lower range of accuracy (low dpi settings or too much acceleration boost), you end up moving several pixels at a time, which can limit the fine accuracy at long distances when you snipe opponents. Finding your preferred balance between high speed movement and high accuracy movement is the goal when setting up your profile.

    Hi Thor,

    What mouse are you using?

I'm using the Kaliber Gaming GKM602R mouse. I have followed all the directions in this article but I am still getting a low look sensitivity.

Are you referring to turn speed, meaning it is slow panning left and right?
  • Moderator [Derek]

And are you using the mouse at the highest resolution (3 red blinks)?
  • Thor

Yes turn speed every which way. And yes the highest resolution

I got it working I watched some Youtube videos and I just needed to upload the changes. Thanks for the help.

You can push the acceleration up a bit and see if that helps, but you may loose some smoothness of fine aiming. Aside from speed, how is your aim performance?

The May BF1 update made some changes and we need to update the profile. I'll be working on that shortly to bring some overall improvement.

Are you using the sample profile above? If so, what mouse are you using, and did you remember to set the mouse for its maximum DPI? Did you set the mouse's max DPI in the KeyMander software?

I can download but it stays in a profile and it will not upload into Keymander, or it does not recognize the download. I am doing something wrong.

How are you importing it? Are you right clicking on the profile or going to file import through the software?

    Hi Sanjay,
I know there was a BF1 update so let me check to make sure our profile is still optimized for the current BF1 rev.

It means no necessary to get a mouse more than 2000 dpi to get fast move and aim cursor in game? And no need to change sensitivity and dpi settings in keymander software?
  • Moderator [Derek]

The minimum dpi for KeyMander is 2000, but more is definitely recommended for gamers that prefer quick, short wrist movements to turn 180 degrees.
