I’m thinking of purchasing the KVM switch in the title for the following setup:

Input 1: Desktop PC with RTX2080 Input 2: MacBook Pro 16inch

Output/Monitor: Alienware AW3418DW 100Hz Gsync 3440x1440 resolution showbox

I have tried to use HDMI with the MacBook but was capped at 50Hz. I found out I can use a KVM switch, but I saw people’s experience with it ranges between excellent and terrible. I just want the monitor to be output and don’t need any peripherals to be connected to the switch (have seperate keyboard and mouse for laptop that are wireless). When the desktop is connected, I need gsync to work at 100hz as I have not overclocked the monitor. I live in Australia, if that helps for shipping and handling considerations. usps tracking
