I play on Xbox One Apex Legends, what would be a reasonable acceleration? I set acceleration to 50 and don't notice any acceleration.

    Hi BT-7274,
A setting of 35 is the zero point, or point at which there is no added acceleration or deceleration to the mouse movement as explained in detail here. If you are trying to spin a faster 180, then increasing the acceleration will help but will also make your aiming speed less consistent as the acceleration causes a non-linear increase in speed. I suggest first testing out our updated sample profile for Apex Legends, and make sure to set the in-game settings as shown on our profile page. Are you on PS4 or XB1?

I was so excited to receive your reply, thank you.
I play on Xbox One, sorry if that wasn't clear enough.
Where would I test out the sample profile? Can I do it on the app, direct download from site, or see a discussion?

Ok dowloaded the file, assigned x button to mouse forward button, so i can move while collecting items and can still reload easily.

Is that working out well for you? You can have X set to BOTH the keyboard and the mouse if that helps. To do that you need to turn on Macro Mode with F11 and set up a macro. When I need to duplicate a command that does not require holding the button down, I will use a macro to add that button function to my mouse as well. I this case you could leave the X mapped to the keyboard and then add a macro to map X to the mouse forward button so you can use either if needed.

Yes, works well, there are a couple of bugs, like i look up whenever i hold g for grenade menu, and sometimes I have to double tap x for it to input, but it feels awesome! High mouse resolution makes it feel like the actual game on pc.

The reason you look up when using G is that I had set a Stick Swap setting to the G key so when you hold G it swaps the mouse and WASD keys for easier looting. I turned Stick Swap off in the attached profile so try it or just turn of the Stick Swap feature in your profile.

The double tapping X may be either a keyboard issue or a timing issue depending on how you mapped the X key. Did you map a controller function directly to X or did you use the Macro function to map the key you wanted using a Macro to X?

For the macros, is the number between the + symbol between the inputs the delay?
How much of the number would equal to 1 second, if so? I want to have a slide-jump macro:
    B, wait 1/2 sec, A

The + symbol means those buttons are pressed together, but the > symbol with the number over equals the amount of delay (in milliseconds) in between the button presses. There's 1000 milliseconds in a second, so 500 milliseconds equals half a second.

Thanks! Looks like to control guns with high recoil in this game, I’m going to need to adjust my sensitivity and get a Logitech G502.

Is there an option to turn off acceleration while ADS but turn it back on while not ADSing?

You can have completely different settings for ADS. Set the Mouse acceleration to 35 which has zero affect on the mouse movement, then you should be good.

Hey, turns out I was using the upgraded version of the m601 redragon, which is still a terrible mouse after the large upgrade.

Thinking of buying g502, g305, or razer death adder. Keep in mind this is mostly for easy aim and recoil control for hard to use guns like alternator and r-99 for apex, and other FPS.

For g502, besides the extra buttons that won’t work, will it still work exactly the same as without Logitech pc software?

I might not use the g502 too much because it’s weight is too heavy for my hand.
However, what’s the highest dpi the keymander software can take? G502 PRO is 16000 max dpi, I think.
Hope you recommend the other mice too.

Sometimes it just takes a while to get uses to weighted mouses, but in the long run weighted mouses are almost always better for gaming.

Also for most weighted mouses you can costumes the amount of weight you want in it.

The KeyMander can be set up to 10K dpi and beyond that really isn't necessary. Any good gaming mouse that fits your hand will work and I prefer any mouse with the PMW3360/3366 chipset for FPS mice. The weight is less important than the fit as Bo2Monkeyguy101 said.

Thanks so much! I know it’s up to my playstyle, but it would be great if you could recommend one, between g502 and g305. I have a medium palm but slightly short fingers. I prefer light mouse, but I will trust you about the weight not mattering as much. I am buying the mouse just for the keymander, to fix my aim in apex and similar games.

Also, for the g502, will it function well without the Logitech computer software, besides the missing extra buttons?

I am of course partial to the mice we make under our Kaliber Gaming brand, so if you prefer I lightweight mouse I'd check out our GME631 KORONA RGB mouse which is $10 off on Amazon right now. If you are a fan of the Logitech mice, the G502 Proteus Core is a great mouse and I have tested it to work.
