I'd used keymander in 2017. It worked very well especially when I play plant vs zombie 2. Recently I started playing xbox again.

But there is always one issue which makes me confused all the time.

Every day, before I turn on my xbox, my entire Keymander thing has already set up as usal. Or I can say it's exactly the same like yesterday. I turn on my xbox, log into my account and then my game. But my keyboard and mouse just won't work for the first time. the lights on my keyboard and mouse are on. When I press F10,F11, it will make that beep sound. (Which means my keyboard and mouse are connected to Keymander properly from my understanding.)

Then I have to disconnect cables and re-connect them. Just try randomly, and somehow, maybe after 10-15 mins trying, it will work. I know it's probably a usb cable issue. it requires a cable which can do both charge and sync. But since I got connected successfully everyday after trying, it looks like it's not a cable issue?

Back to the 2017, As I remembered, I had similar issue with totally different cables.. But at that time I didn't have to spend so much time before getting connected properly. Now it's just getting frustrating.

    Anyone can help? Thank you.

I don't think its the cables I think its the keymander itself. I just unplug the keymander and plug it back in. although sometimes it gets annoying but as long as it doesn't disconnect mid game it really isn't that much of a problem.

Right. I tried to plug the cable into the USB port on the back of the Xbox instead of the frontal one. Seems like it has a higher chance to get connected

Yes it could also be a power issue if you have a extra usb cable and a charger block plug it into a wall outlet and into the keymander: power usb. that might help

Hello one thing we want to check on the disconnecting issue is if does it on a different controller we have notices where there may be some power issue on the controller causing the disconnect by swapping controllers that fixes the problem also remove the batteries from the controller see if that solves the issue.

Always plug the KeyMander into the rear USB port on the Xbox One consoles as the front and side ports on older consoles have some power limitation problems. If that doesn't solve the provlem, try adding the extra power cable to the KeyMander Power port. Let us know what you find out.

I have a dog that likes to sniff around and lay on cables so he knocked the controller down while it was plugged in it ended up bending the micro usb cable so now it goes in but doesn't snap in, so causing little movement to end up moving the usb and disconnecting the sound. Make sure your Micro usb things arn't broken (see picture)

My kids drop the controller all the time, killing both micro USB cables and three headset connectors!
