I'm having complete trouble with getting the keymander to work with my controller, i'm in the IT industry and I know what i'm doing around computers and xbox one. I have tried plenty of different charge and sync cables, resetting the xbox, completely disconnecting everything, pulling the power cord from the power brick, using the keyboard and mouse directly through the keymander device and i've updated the keymanders firmware to the most recent (to my knowledge) 1.3.122. Is there any advice or help I can get on this. I have gone through hours of constant trial and error.

When I plug the controller into the xbox directly it turns on right away, yet through the keymander it doesn't turn on at all.

    Let's check a couple things.
    1. Does the KeyMander power light turn on ever?
    2. Is the KeyMander connected to a rear USB port on the XB1?

yes i've tried the back usb port and the side usb port and the power and settings light are on, i have all the cables in the right spots. Since i'm a pc player i'm using my pc to pass through the keymander for key and mouse. the only problem is my controller wont connect to the keymander as soon as i plug it in. I made sure of having the right cable, as I went to the store and bought another cable just to be sure.

Ok, that sounds correct so far so let's do this next.
    1. Take the batteries out of the controller so it is powered completely off.
    2. Connect the mini USB cable between the XB1 back USB port (don't use the side port) and the KeyMander's Game port.
    3. Connect the mini USB cable between the PC and the KeyMander's PC port.
    4. Connect the micro USB cable between the KeyMander's controller port and the controller but don't turn it on yet.
    5. Start the KeyMander software, select a profile then click Simulation.
    6. Push the X button on the controller to turn it on and force it into USB communication.
    7. If the system is working now, great. If not, connect the keytboard directly to the Keyander and see if the WASD or arrow keys will navigate the XB1 home screens. If not, swap the Game port mini USB cable with the PC port mini USB cable. If that fixes it, we will need to send you a replacement mini USB cable.

Please let us know what you find out.

I'm sorry to hear the cable was defective, but glad you got it figured out! Thank you for updating us, and if you are in the U.S. and need a backup cable please let us know.
