My xb1 controller doesn't connect to he keymander

    So I was using my keymander and about after a year I started having issues where when I plug my cord into my xb1 controller it vibrates then doesn't turn on I am using the official Microsoft charge and sync cable and it has worked in the past with many other cables too I have even tried switching controllers I am not sure what to do

    Hi Chris,
    I'm guessing you have your KeyMander connected to either an original Xbox One on the side USB port, or the front port of a newer one, correct? If so, connect to the rear USB port as there are some issues with power on those side and front ports. Let us know if that solves the problem.

    Ok, there are a few things we can try to narrow this down. First, the KeyMander came with two mini USB to USB cables, so connect the second mini USB cable to the KeyMander Power port and connect the USB end to a USB power source such as a phone charger, etc. That will tell us if the problem is power related, or not.

    If it still has a problem, change the other mini-USB cable to a different port on the console.

    If that does not solve the issue, get a different charge and sync cable, make sure there are no batteries in the controller, make sure the console is off and connect the new cable. Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn on the console and let us know if the controller shuts off. If it does, it may have a loose or broken micro USB connector on the controller. Switch to a different controller and see if the problem persists.
