I am trying to open the software and fix the settings for my keymander but it wont open and is stuck at a spinning circle. The Blue LED power light is flashing constantly. I have the PC and Power ports plugged in to the laptop. I did the hard reset twice and checked the firmware without the software and its updated to the most recent version. They keymander software worked once before i attempted the rest and updating the current version firmware. Any help to get it running would be appreciated.

If the power light is flashing that means the Keymander is in firmware mode, the software will not open in this mode.

What you need to do is run the firmware file on its own while you have the keymander connected and flashing.

Once the update is complete the light should stop flashing and it will work.

    Hi Nicholas,
Do you have the PC connected to the KeyMander PC port and the console connected to the Game port or a USB power supply connected to the Power port? If you don't have the either the Game port or Power port connected in addition to the PC port it will not have power to program the KeyMander.

Ok, if the light is flashing that means the unit needs to go through recovery mode. Did you remember to unzip the firmware before trying to install it? Unfortunately, Windows will allow you to view and select a zipped folder but it will cause the update to fail if not unzipped first. Follow these steps in the firmware recovery processhere to recover the firmware and restore the unit.

Ok, let's do something different. Does your PC have two open USB ports (do not connect through a USB hub)? If so, do this:
    1. Disconnect the KeyMander from the console, keyboard, mouse and controller.
    2. Take a paperclip or similar thin pointed object and use it to press and hold the reset button on the KeyMander. Don't let go of the reset button!
    3. While holding the reset button, connect a mini-USB cable from the KeyMander's Power port to a USB port on your PC.
    4. While still holding the reset button, connect a mini-USB cable from the PC port to the PC.
    5. After the PC port is connected to the PC, wait 5 seconds and release the reset button.
    6. Browse to the location in your computer where you have stored the KeyMander firmware upgrade file (GE1337P_FW_V1.*.exe).
    7. Double click to open the Firmware Upgrade Utility and run it WITHOUT using the KeyMander software.
    8. Follow the on-screen prompts until it is complete.
    9. Disconnect the KeyMander's PC and Power ports and wait 10-15 seconds.
    10. Reconnect the KeyMander's PC and Power ports.
    11. Open the KeyMander software and if all is well the KeyMander will connect like normal.
