What kind of keyboard are you using? Have you tried reloading the firmware?

i have set both keymander and mouse to max DPI but still dont have a smooth mouse i still havent made any changes to profiles. Now i have lowered in game sensitivity to 7 cause it seems to smooth out a lil compared to 14/Insane but that has been the only thing i have done.Seems to me that the mouse is still a little bit slacking behind not by much at all but maybe piont something seconds behind but enough to tell there is slacking

We have a mouse here with 8200 sensor and we do not get any issues like this, does this happen while you have the keyboard and mouse connected directly?

keyboard and mouse are plugged directly into keymander. Just played a game again to confirm and set sensitivity to 8(high) and seems to be just fine now. Do wanna say thanks for responding

    Hi Jesse22,
The smoothness issue may be related to the mouse sensor as I believe the M1 uses a laser sensor. Are you using a soft pad or hard pad with it?

What mouse is it? Check your mouse sensor window and use a can of compressed air to blow off any dirt or contaminants for starters, and let me know about the mouse model.

What keyboard are you using? It almost sounds like there's a compatibility issue with it. Does it do the same thing if you connect through the PC in Play Mode?

To me, the profile posted feels sluggish and clunky, what am I doing wrong? I have adjusted deadspots. I guess it is more similar to input delay.tterrag1551

The EC2A version with the Pixart 3310 sensor is a very good PC gaming mouse, but for some odd reason they have limited the resolution to 3200dpi when the sensor is capable of up to 5000dpi without interpolation. The issue with lower resolution factors in with console adapters due to the way the games are built for use with controllers. When we convert the analog controller environment, the maximum movement speed (sensitivity) is divided up into steps with the mouse's maximum resolution equaling the total scale of steps, so the higher the mouse's maximum resolution, the finer the resolution steps become with the mouse. Lower resolution (under 4K dpi) may be fine for many people depending on their style of play, but for those higher level games that snap off flick shots, a higher dpi mouse will perform better.

Now having said that, this may not be what you are experiencing. Are you a high sensitivity player in PC or a low sensitivity player like old school CS:GO players? Do you notice this issue more moving at low speed like sniping or high speed?

Also, try the Blackout profile and see if there is any improvement.

Thank you for the detailed response. I will try to explain the issue. When tracking, mouse movements lag behind to what I am used to on PC. When flicking, I often times overaim the target as the acceleration kicks in. Coming from PC, this feels very similar to input delay. Additionally, and may or may not be placebo, but I feel like mouse movements are more fluid offline versus multiplayer. I stared using your profile, then made my own using yours as a base, and now I am back using your profile with tweaks to sensitivity and acceleration. I grew up playing CoD, but the past few years I transitioned to CSGO. Now I use an enormous soft pad with “arm” aiming. I would prefer lower sensitivity for ADS, but at this point any fluid sensitivity would be great! Also, do you suggest aim assist on or off? Thanks!

Ok, I got you now. I will do some testing offline to see what's going on. There is acceleration added to the mid-speed portion of the curve to speed a 180 flip. I'll need to work on it a bit more to smooth that.

if this helps, small mouse movements are fast and perfect, but larger mouse movements are slow and lag behind. So I add acceleration to help this, which makes small movements imprecise. It is like this for the Fortnite profile as well.

It's a Redragon M670. Mouse seems to be clean and like I said, on PC it works perfectly without issues.

Does it work in Play Mode correctly? We have had some issues with certain Redragon models in the past, so please let me know.

just an update, I was playing Blackout using the same profile I had been for multiplayer and the aiming feels almost spot on. Any reason why there seems to be increased latency or some factor in multiplayer but not Blackout?

just tried it on play mode and it works better. Is there anyway to fix this without me having to use my PC and play mode?

Yes, but it will take us a little time to profile the mouse and create a patch. I haven't bought that mouse yet, but I will order it and send it to our engineers to diagnose. We have done this for most major mice when we find an issue, but I don't know how long it will take.

I found something similar comparing multiplayer to a private local match, and I think it may be due to some of the console's processing speed being lost with the multiplayer connection, but that is just a hunch. I am certain they are still working server bugs out as this is the first time CoD has used Blizzard's Battle.net instead of Steam, so it may improve shortly.

okay, no problem. At least play mode seems to work fine. Thanks for the help.

i am using a soft pad i have a hard pad to any suggestions on what to use ?

Laser mice seem to be more consistent and track faster on hard pads. Please switch to this and let's go from there. We will almost certainly need to make some adjustments as well, but please start by comparing performance with only the pad change to see if you feel a difference in accuracy and tracking speed if you are a flick-style gamer.

When ever i am in game, when i move my mouse to shoot someone. it slows down when I try to aim towards them, I amd aware that this is affected by the mouse acceleration, and i would like to have no acceleration at all with my mouse movement... how do i fix that??

What is the acceleration currently set to? Also did you disable all aim assist?

try changing your mouse response to 500hz it's a lot more consistent.

hi Derek, I was wondering what the advantages were of setting the KeyMander dpi to a value higher than the maximum dpi of the mouse? Also, are the first two profiles the same? Thanks!
  • Moderator [Derek]

I have made some very minor changes to my current test profile, but even with some of the server lag I haven't seen much issue with this profile. Cheating the dpi value adds finer steps to the mouse movement and can smooth it out, but at the cost of never reaching the peak movement speed. However, rarely do you need peak movement speed so it is worth testing for your specific mouse.

I am using the new profiles and it is much better. The only issue is in gun fights, ads feels sluggish. Is this just how console feels compared to PC? Is pretty smooth now, so maybe I just new to adjust.
