I did it and it is still very choppy, any other recommendations or fixes?

Part of the reason you may be getting jittery movements may be because the keymander is set to 2000 DPI by default. You would need our software or app to change that to 8200 dpi to match your mouses settings.

Ok, I have a Kaliber gaming FOKUS mouse and it is white and was wondering what all the dpis were for the on the fly buttons and which one I should use since the keymander is automatically set to 2000 dpi

I would still recommend setting it to its max DPI. For most games 2000 DPI is just enough, but other you may need more, what game are you playing?

Rainbow six siege, i was thinking of going down to about 2400 dpi because that he closest I can get without having a pc nd just raising the sensitivity with the keymander

    Hi Bryce,

Using a mouse on a console is different than using it on a PC because the games are designed for a joystick, so the conventional logic about lower dpi settings does not apply. Here's some information that will give you a lot more insight into how it works in a console environment, and how we overcome most limitations.

The quick answer is to set your KeyMander to 8200 dpi and your mouse to 8200 dpi. This gives you the full window of mouse resolution to work within (instead of 2400dpi) and allows smoother movement.

Does the dead zone have to be low enough to move without touching the mouse because that kinda sucks

No the deadzone should not be set that low, follow the steps here.

I'm attempting to set up my adapter with Overwatch on Xbox One. My DPI is set to 8000, sensitivity in game is maxed out, exponential ramp is on, aim smoothing and assist are off. The keyboard settings work fine but the mouse is still having issues. When I aim, fire, and aim down sights it is very delayed. I'll click to fire and it will take seconds for the game to actually start firing the weapon. I think I have the turbo setting(whatever that is) turned off. I'm using a Corsair M65 Pro.

    Any suggestions for fixing this?

Can you tell me what profile you are using, was it one you created or one of our profiles?

Also what version firmware do you have on your Keymander?

I downloaded the Overwatch profile from your website for Xbox and tried tweaking the deadzone settings and sensitivities to try and fix my problem with no success.

Both the software and firmware are version 1.3.122.

That delay is very extreme and I have not been able to replicate the issue. Have you tried upgrading the firmware? Go ahead and reload the firmware even if you are up to date.

When I download the zipped file for the firmware off the website and go to open it acts like it is opening because I see an icon in my task bar but it immediately disappears and nothing else happens. Not sure if this is supposed to happen or not.

I also re-downloaded the software too just in case.

You should not be opening the firmware file on its own. You need to open the software first then go to HELP> Firmware upgrade, then choose the firmware file.

Also make sure the files are extracted from the ZIP folder.

This seems to have fixed the problem. My aiming feels smoother now and feels natural.

I appreciate the help, thanks Marco!

How do I change the actual mouse's dpi, also I have a rival 110 do you have any recommendations on profiles or sensitivity, I have an around 10-inch lateral and 8-inch vertical mouse mat and I usually play with my wrist, not my entire arm. I experience lots of jitteriness when I am playing I tried playing with the settings beforehand. also, I find it more of a chore than a skill to hold an around 5-pixel angle in Rainbow Six Siege because I have to move the mouse around a lot before I can hit the sweet spot for the angle. but I am not that good with programming so if you have any tips or set profiles that could help me it would be very much appreciated.

I would highly recommend starting with our profiles, what console are you on?

Also to change the mouse's DPI you would need a DPI button on the mouse itself. What is its MAX dpi?

I've been experiencing the same thing as before where I move my mouse and click to shoot and it is extremely delayed again, its not as bad as before though. I redownloaded the software and firmware and it didn't seem to work this time. There is a short time in game where I can sometimes get it to work how it is supposed to but will ultimately go back to aiming and shooting on its own.

Does this happen both in simulation/play mode and directly to the Keymander?
What game are you playing and are you using one of our profiles?
  • csonhing
    0
Yes, this happens in both simulation and play mode. I'm playing Overwatch on Xbox One. I'm using one of your Overwatch Xbox One profiles with some different button mappings. I have all the sensitivity on 100 for horizontal and vertical with exponential ramp on and all those other settings off it tells you to have off in the profile.

What's the difference between play and simulation modes?
  • Leviboy3000

I play r6s, downloaded settings from the site and just changed a bit
  • Moderator [Marco]

Simulation and play mode will do the same thing but simulation will send only the profile that is selected. Play mode will send all profiles available.

Now I wanted you to try it with out the PC just the Keymander and the console.

Which exact profile are you using?
  • csonhing

The keyboard and mouse don't work at all when I remove them from my PC and put them into the KeyMander itself. I can get it to work for a couple minutes at a time now somehow but I eventually lose control.

What console are you on? And also what lights do you currently see on the Keymander.

I’m playing on first gen Xbox One. When I’m using the Keymander all three blue lights on the top of the adapter are on

Which port do you have the Keymander connected to on the Xbox One? Is it the one on the side? If so can you try one of the ports on the back.
